Joli A. Lofstedt

I grew up in small town in South Dakota. I graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. After graduation, I moved to the Louisville, Kentucky area. I passed the CPA examination and worked as a tax auditor for the State of Indiana.

I married in July of 1988 and began law school at the University of Colorado in Boulder in the fall of 1989. I graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree, Order of the Coif in 1992. During law school, I clerked for two Boulder law firms.

Following law school, I became an associate attorney with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in its Denver, Colorado office focusing on my corporate and bankruptcy practice. In April of 1995, I left Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher to go to work for Connolly & Halloran in Boulder, Colorado. The law firm is now Connolly, Rosania & Lofstedt, P.C. and I have been a shareholder with the firm since 1997.  I was appointed to the panel of chapter 7 trustees for the District of Colorado in December of 2009.

I concentrate my practice on bankruptcy, work-out and corporate issues, including commercial litigation matters. I represent debtors-in-possession, creditors’ committees, bankruptcy trustees, liquidating trustees and various other clients in reorganization and liquidation proceedings. I have extensive experience in bankruptcy proceedings of all sizes and in the claims administration process.

Outside of law, I enjoy running, biking, vacationing and spending time with my husband and three children.
