I was born in Dubuque, Iowa, in 1969 and was raised there. Following high school I attended the University of Iowa where I earned my Bachelor Degree in Business Administration – Finance in 1992. Following graduation I accepted a job offer from a bank in Dubuque and began my career as a loan originator and personal banker. In 1994 I enrolled in law school at the University of Iowa. I earned my law degree in 1997, with distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law.
Upon graduation I moved to Colorado. In October 1997, I began practicing law with Connolly, Rosania & Lofstedt, P.C., and have been with the firm ever since. My practice has been heavily involved in bankruptcy and bankruptcy related matters, including business financial workouts, state court debtor-creditor disputes and secured transactions. Despite this emphasis, I have prosecuted and defended tort cases in state court, prosecuted state court appeals and represented clients before the federal district court of Colorado.
Currently, the focus of my practice is on representing corporate debtors in bankruptcy, individual debtors and Chapter 7 trustees requiring counsel to prosecute bankruptcy avoidance claims. If you are in need of representation and believe that my practice areas and experience meet your needs, please call me.
I am a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Colorado Bar Association and the Boulder County Bar Association.
I have been a shareholder of the firm since 2008.
